Pediatric Epilepsy Advanced Technologies Clinic (PEATC) is a multidisciplinary concierge clinic offering the highest level of care for children and young adults with complex, treatment resistant epilepsy.

Our team works with the patient’s primary neurologist to provide recommendations for additional specialized care, including surgical interventions. Upon referral, we review previous medical records and tests, then complete a comprehensive evaluation.

A dedicated PEATC nurse navigator works with a patient’s primary neurologist to facilitate the referral and is a dedicated contact for the patient’s family to coordinate visits, testing, as well as communicate and guide families through the process. The nurse navigator continues to communicate with the referring provider throughout the evaluation process.

A Level 4 center provides the more complex forms of intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring, as well as more extensive medical, neuropsychological and psychosocial treatment.  Level 4 centers offer a complete evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including intracranial electrodes and a broad range of surgical procedures for epilepsy.
