Sheel Pathak is an assistant professor of neurology and pediatrics. Pathak grew up in New Hampshire and Texas and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Pathak completed his pediatrics residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia followed by neurology training at Washington University.  Pathak completed an additional year of training in pediatric movement disorders at Washington University, focusing clinical efforts on the management of Tourette Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Upon completion of training, Pathak joined Washington University Clinical Associates Child Neurology and in 2018 joined the department of Neurology at Washington University. Pathak sees patients at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Children’s Specialty Care Center. Pathak’s clinical interests include general child and adolescent neurology, diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, tic and Tourette, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, headaches. In addition to his clinical interests, Pathak is involved in medical student and resident education.
